Our Story

Laura founded DKO Engineering with a strong dedication to fostering relationships and cultivating a culture of respect after relocating to the Carolinas. This career move allowed her to continue pursuing her passion for engineering while balancing a growing family. Over time, through expert collaboration with industry colleagues, the firm expanded its geographic footprint and client base. Today, DKO remains true to its roots: committed to those we work with, building lasting relationships, and delivering timely quality work products.

Laura Bolduc, MSCE, PE

Chief Executive Officer

With over 16 years of experience working on hundreds of projects throughout the US, Laura guides the firm’s operations while providing expert engineering design, consulting, and forensic services. In 2016, she founded DKO Engineering with a passion for delivering high-quality work with integrity. From there, the company’s client base grew steadily. Colleagues and clients find Laura consistent, responsive, and willing to go to great lengths to meet deadlines and goals. Laura is a licensed engineer in multiple states.

Not only does Laura have the endurance to go the extra mile on a project, but also as a runner. She participates in half marathons through 24-hour races. Laura and her husband have a daughter and a son, along with two rabbits and two dogs (American Bulldog and Boxer). She enjoys baking with her daughter and spending time at the lake with her family.
